WARRANTY
This limited warranty covers –
- This 10-year warranty applies to slabs that have been installed in an interior, commercial use application. The warranty specifies that the slabs will be free from manufacturing defects from the date of the completion of the installation
- This is a product only warranty. Our obligation under the 10 year warranty covers only the replacement of the failed Trend Surfaces product in slab form. It does not cover labor to remove, fabricate and/or reinstall of Trend Surfaces products, or any other task necessary to complete the replacement or removal of the defective material
- Our slabs that has been maintained in accordance with the care and maintenance as per the guidelines
- This warranty covers replacement of any defective material that is paid in full. It does not cover labor, removal, fabrication, or installation of material
- This warranty is not transferable. Under no circumstances shall this warranty exceed ten (10) years from the date of installation. This warranty is issued to the original owner of the structure in which the our slabs were installed and expires upon transfer of the ownership of the structure to a third party
- Laws and building safety codes governing the design, engineering and construction of installation vary widely. We assumes no responsibility or obligations with respect to the selection of products for the installation or the design, engineering and construction off the installation
EXCLUSIONS
Here are some sample exclusions that may be included in a quartz slab warranty.
- Improper installation: Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under the warranty. It is the responsibility of the installer to follow proper installation guidelines and to use appropriate materials and techniques
- Natural variations: Natural variations in color, pattern, and texture are normal and do not constitute defects. These variations are inherent to the product and are not covered under the warranty
- Environmental factors: Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals, or other environmental factors is not covered under the warranty
- Physical damage: Damage caused by physical impact, misuse, abuse, or negligence is not covered under the warranty
- Alterations or modifications: Any alterations or modifications made to the product after installation is not covered under the warranty
- Commercial use: If the quartz slabs are used in a commercial setting, the warranty may be limited or excluded altogether
- Secondary or consequential damages: The warranty may exclude coverage for any secondary or consequential damages that result from defects in the quartz slabs
- Natural wear and tear: Normal wear and tear that occurs over time is not covered under the warranty. This includes minor surface scratches, etches, and dulling
- Discoloration: Discoloration caused by exposure to UV light or other environmental factors is not covered under the warranty
- Improper maintenance: Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance is not covered under the warranty. It is the responsibility of the owner to follow proper cleaning and maintenance guidelines
- Acts of God: Damage caused by natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes, is not covered under the warranty
- Installation outside of specifications: If the quartz slabs are installed outside of the recommended specifications, the warranty may be limited or excluded altogether
- Substitution of materials: If the quartz slabs are substituted with materials other than those specified by the manufacturer, the warranty may be void
- Use of harsh chemicals: The warranty may exclude coverage for damage caused by the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the quartz slabs
- Acts of third parties: Damage caused by the actions of third parties, such as contractors or installers, is not covered under the warranty. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that only qualified professionals handle the installation and maintenance of the quartz slabs
- Use in non-residential settings: If the quartz slabs are used in a non-residential setting, such as in a commercial building, the warranty may be limited or excluded altogether
- Cosmetic issues: Minor cosmetic issues, such as variations in pattern or shade, are not covered under the warranty unless they affect the performance or structural integrity of the product
- Misuse or abuse: Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the product, such as using it as a cutting surface or placing heavy objects on it, is not covered under the warranty
- Damage during transportation: If the quartz slabs are damaged during transportation, the warranty may not apply. It is the responsibility of the owner to inspect the product upon delivery and report any damage immediately
- Discontinued products: If the product is discontinued, the warranty may no longer apply
- Additional modifications such as plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinets etc. that may be necessary to repair or replace the product covered under this warranty
- Seam appearance or performance defects
